通常指借入（相对于主语来说），常与介词from连用。

（"Borrow"  typically refers to taking and using something that belongs to someone else with the intention of returning it / receiving or taking something from someone else.）

borrow sth. from sb.：向某人借某物，从某人那里借某物（借入）

borrow money：借钱（借入）

borrow money from...：向......借钱（从......那里借钱）
